The Executive AI sells a downloadable playbook and an optional prompt add-on, and offers a free guide in exchange for your email address. This page explains what we collect, why, and who processes it. We aim to collect only what we need: your email if you request the free guide, purchase details if you buy, and consent-based analytics to understand how the site is used.
Who we are
This site and the playbook are operated by Busted Open Solutions ("the operator," "we," "us"). For any privacy question, or to make a request described below, contact us at rich@theexecutiveai.io.
What we collect on this website
Free-guide email sign-up
When you request the free guide, we collect the email address you enter in the sign-up form so we can deliver the guide and, if you stay subscribed, send occasional related material. The form captures your email only. Submissions are processed by Netlify Forms (our host) and are not shared with any third party beyond the processors named in this policy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Analytics (only with your consent)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (see "Information collected automatically" below). Analytics is set to a consent-denied default and does not load or set cookies until you accept it in our consent banner. We do not run advertising trackers or serve targeted ads. You can read most of the site, including the free sample chapter, without providing any personal information.
Purchase information
When you buy the playbook, the Prompt Vault, or the bundle, checkout and payment are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our merchant of record. Your payment-card details are entered on Lemon Squeezy's systems, not ours, and we never see or store your full card number. Lemon Squeezy shares limited order information with us (such as your name, email address, and the fact that a purchase was made) so we can deliver the product and honor refunds. Lemon Squeezy processes your information under its own privacy policy at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
Information collected automatically
- Hosting logs: our host, Netlify, may automatically log standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and secure the site, under Netlify's own policy.
- Fonts: we load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those files from Google and, in doing so, may expose your IP address to Google. See Google's privacy policy for details.
- Analytics (with consent): if you accept analytics in our consent banner, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to collect aggregated usage data such as pages viewed, general location, device type, and on-page interactions. Analytics defaults to consent-denied and does not load or set cookies until you opt in. We do not send your email address or other directly identifying information to Google.
- Consent choice: we store your accept or deny choice in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again on every page. This is a functional preference, not a tracking identifier.
Why we are allowed to process your information
Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, our lawful bases for the limited order information we receive are the performance of a contract (delivering a product you purchased and providing support and refunds) and our legitimate interests (running and securing the business). For the email address you provide to receive the free guide, and for analytics, our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form or by accepting analytics in our banner. You can withdraw either at any time (unsubscribe, or decline analytics) without affecting processing already carried out.
How long we keep it
Email addresses collected through the free-guide sign-up are stored within our Netlify Forms account and are kept until you unsubscribe or until 24 months of inactivity, whichever comes first, after which they are deleted. We do not sell or share these addresses, and we do not transfer them to any processor other than those named in this policy. When you unsubscribe, we promptly remove your address from our active sending list and keep only what is needed to honor that request. Analytics data collected with your consent is retained for no longer than 14 months, in line with our Google Analytics 4 data-retention setting, after which Google deletes the underlying event-level data.
Purchase records are retained as required for tax, accounting, and refund obligations, primarily within Lemon Squeezy's systems. You may ask us to delete information we hold, subject to those legal retention requirements.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:
- Access: ask what we hold about you.
- Correction: ask us to fix inaccurate information.
- Deletion: ask us to erase your information.
- Opt out of sale/sharing: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you may still contact us to confirm.
- Unsubscribe: stop receiving our emails at any time using the link in any message we send, or by contacting us.
- Withdraw analytics consent: decline analytics in the consent banner at any time; declining stops analytics from loading.
- Non-discrimination: we will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any right, email us at rich@theexecutiveai.io. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. For EU/UK residents, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
When you request the free guide, we collect your email address directly through this website. When you make a purchase, we receive the category of "identifiers" (name and email) from Lemon Squeezy for order fulfillment and support. We do not sell or share that information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents may exercise the access and deletion rights listed above.
"Do Not Track"
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. We do not track visitors across sites or serve targeted advertising, and our analytics only runs if you affirmatively accept it in our consent banner, so declining analytics there is the most direct way to opt out.
Children
This site and playbook are intended for business professionals and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
